Accommodation

Berlin is a vibrant city with lots of options for accomodation. But there are also competetive events that drag a lot of people into visiting the city, e.g. the Christopher Street Day festivities are gonna take place the same weekend as our event.In other words:
Please book your accomodation asap to avoid high prices.- We reserved rooms at our Sportsclub T.i.B.. 2 person room, 4 person room, 8 person dorm. We will reserve that option for a group of juniors who might come. If not, we're gonna open the option for others.
- A&O Hostels (a&o Berlin Kolumbus, Genslerstraße18, 13055 Berlin). They have a variety of options, close to the venue, well connected with public transport
- Airbnb and Booking will show you further options.
- in case you are travelling on a small budget, we´d try to facilitate private accomodation with frisbee players (not necessarily DDC though :) ).

Tournament Fee

  • until June 17th: 50€ (Juniors 25€)

  • until July 21st: 60€

  • latest registration: July 25th, 70€ and a treat for the person who is in charge of the round robin pool preparation.

We will play Open division for sure, Women, if enough female players register and maybe even Juniors, also depending on the number of registered players.

We have a players booklet (it's a living document, i.e., it will be updated often in advance of the tournament). It contains further information about the event, venue, competition formats, schedules etc.

If you're curious about this event as a spectator, sponsor or sports enthusiast, the video above explains the sport. Here's the ultra brief version:

  • Two teams of two players each play in two courts that are 17m apart

  • You play with two discs at the same time

  • Scoring is 1 point for a disc that lands and stays in the opponent's court and 1 point for a disc that an opponent throws out of bounds
    Additionally, you get 2 points when the opponents touch both discs at the same time!
